His face wrinkled deeply with displeasure. "Another Darrow?" he grumped. Why would anyone want that? Darrow -- their Darrow, Magnus supposed he should start calling it -- was fine. It wasn't home. Magnus hated it because it wasn't home. It offered some relief from their nosy (but loving) parents, but it wasn't their home. It wasn't their D.C., it wasn't their firm. They were only building things here that would be abandoned whenever they finally got home. If they got home.
But another Darrow? What was the point?
"That's not kind of creepy, it's definitively creepy," he countered. "Is there anyone there? Or is it a ghost town?"
Lord, he hated horror movies. He prayed this would not become a horror movie.
